Gary John has been a street artist since 1985. Originally from Seattle, Washington, he moved to Venice Beach, Los Angeles in 2003 and began selling his work on the Venice boardwalk. After almost ten years, John exploded onto the international art scene for his bold works.
His street artworks have a whimsical yet exciting and bold quality, inspired by classic cartoon and comic book characters rendered with acrylic paint in a bold graffiti style, on newspaper, magazine pages or cardboard. His mixed media works blur the boundaries between Pop Art and Abstract Expressionism mixed with Street Art.
This large, vibrant 51-inch tall by 42-inch wide collage and acrylic painting on canvas contains the quintessential symbolism of Gary John, including references in red to the many homes he's lived in, his period of homelessness, mythic tribe affiliations, and his constant trajectory upwards in life. This unique artwork is dated and signed on the front with the first two letters of Gary John's first and last name: "GA JO." This artwork is wired and ready to hang. Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
