Classic beech bistro chair made in France by the maker Baumann. Baumann is a slightly off the radar French producer just starting to gain traction in the market. Baumann was founded in 1901, by Swiss man Emile Baumann, in Colombier Fontaine, France. Baumann started producing a simple child’s chair but grew rapidly to be a large bentwood producer with showrooms all over France. In our view the chairs of the 50’s and 60′ are their best, beautifully made and designed. We have cleaned them, that’s all. Stunning original patina. Our workshop services and rejuvenates each chair before they leave our workshop and we deliver chairs of excellent quality. Seat Height 46cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
