The shade is made with a maximum of
135 meters ofwicker woven in a classic
motif.The large circular part interlocks
on the small conical segment for the Mini
version, on the double trunk for the larger
version, evoking a recurring feature of
the Caratteri collection. When the lamp
is switched off the shade displays the
woven pattern; when it is on, the weave
seems to dematerialize, revealing the
light source.
