their edges. They are fitted with two bronze handles and, in the center of each drawer, a keyhole that operates a lock
in perfect working order. All these elements are original.
On each side, two rounded legs flanked by marquetry of similar wood and the same arrangement end in
a curved base at the bottom.
The sides feature four veneer elements, a technique known as "Quatre Feuilles" with a frame in violet wood marquetry
.
The top is made of thick marble, in brocatelle in shades of sienna and eggshell, molded with square and rounded grooves.
The interiors of the drawers are made of walnut. The dust covers between each of these compartments are made of pine, as are
the bottom and back of this period furniture.
This high-quality piece of furniture, which is quite wide, has benefited from the use of precious woods and authentic
18th-century assembly.
