Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the 19th century, this elm wood side cabinet features a linear silhouette perfectly complimented by a brown patina. The cabinet showcases a rectangular top sitting above two doors fitted with a large bronze medallion opening thanks to a key to reveal inner shelves and hidden drawers offering convenient storage space. Two ornate pulls on rosette backplates, partially echoed on a smaller scale in the lower section, complete the ensemble below. The sides are plain and fitted with handles allowing the piece to be moved more easily. The back presents a darker hue.
