Created in China during the Qing Dynasty in the 19th century, this red lacquer cabinet features a rectangular top with central board, sitting above two small drawers fitted with bronze ring pulls on circular backplates. The rest of the façade showcases two doors fitted with a large traditional bronze medallion with teardrop pulls and petite key, opening to reveal a dark lacquered interior with inner shelves offering convenient storage opportunities. These doors are connected to two thin hinges topped with scrolling motifs evoking capitals over columns.
