Francois Gall (1912-1987) was well known for his paintings of Parisian scenes of parks, cafes and portraits of woman in everyday life. This work represents just that, a stroll along the riverbank "life on the waterfront". Work is signed both on the lower right front and on the verso.
Frame is hand carved wood with gold leaf.
