Because the Clara Table Lamp is made of a large block of optic crystal, it is very heavy. The crystal is of the clearest quality and is matched by a square optic crystal finial. This clear lamp creates an optical illusion because it doesn't look square, though it is. A design detail of note is how the lines on the bottom of the lamp's body create a implied base because all four sides can be seen.
