moreProduced by Jeannette Glass Company this set of 1 Large Server and 6 Depression Glass, Ruffled Salad Bowls are a lovely addition to your collection. A Heritage pattern, Iris and Herringbone, was produced in the late 1920s and discontinued in 1932.
A translucent pattern of Herringbone and Iris, imbues a subtle and elegant vintage pattern on clear glass. These Bowl exhibit an Art- Deco flare with the ruffled edge detail. I am also offering the Large, Matching Salad Bowl Server.
Jeannette Bottle Works began operation in the late 1880s in Jeannette, Penn. In 1898 the company became Jeannette Glass Company, which produced a vast selection of handmade bottles, jars and dishware. Improvements made to the factory in the early 1900s included conversion to a pressed glass facility. This allowed the company to later produce the Depression-era kitchen glass and dinnerware for which they are best known.
Jeannette Glass Company introduced 14 Collectible Depression Glass patterns during the period from 1928-1938, among these is the Iris and Herringbone pattern.
