Both pieces are individually hallmarked with the CC mark for Charles Christofle and the CHRISTOFLE signature mark. They are attached but can be separated for cleaning with a twist key on the bottom of the plate. It's a heavy piece weighing approximately 21 ounces. This gorgeous, serving, statement piece from France, dates back to circa 1895. Rare and sophisticated antique piece in excellent condition. See less
