Independence on july 4, … Read more Royal copenhagen - the colonial coffee service, produced in conjunction with the 200th anniversary of u.s. Independence on july 4, 1976. Features handcrafted mahogany case with loose bottom. Interior lined with light green silk and trim. The box contains a coffee pot with protruding handle and four cups and saucers, as well as a tray, sugar bowl and creamer. All painted in anthracite gray and plated with 24 ct gold. The motifs are silhouettes of the nine leading figures of the u.s. Associated with the declaration of independence in 1775, and the set is produced in an edition of 300. A leather-bound certificate from royal copenhagen is included. This is set #134 of 300, the first set was given to the president of the united states.

in mahogany chest. Box with stand, h. 66. M. 42. D. 32 cm.

the set is unused and shows no signs of wear. The mahogany table and wooden box have slight signs of use and patina inside. This piece has an attribution mark,
