Yuval Mahler was born in 1951 in Haifa, Israel, Yuval Mahler studied graphic design and animation at School of Visual Arts in New York City. While living in New York, he also participated in several group shows in Soho. Mahler draws on rich supply of wry humor, satire, caricature, and comedy to produce his insightful studies of human behavior. His paintings explore human relationships under various conditions of life the world over. Mahler's work appeals to the child in us all, to optimists as well as those who simply want their spirits lifted. The artist works in varied media acrylic, colored pencil, gouache, pastels, and serigraphs to achieve his delightful depictions of human condition. His paintings and sculptures have been shown in galleries and exhibitions in many countries, including Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Israel, and United States. This is in a style similar to James Rizzi, Charles Fazzino, Dudu David Gerstein and Red Grooms.
His paintings explore human relationships under various conditions of life, all over the world and sometimes exploring judaica and Jewish life.
Mahler's work is intended to appeal to the child in us all. One of his greatest achievements is that "Swatch Watches" chose him from all of the Israeli artists to design their stores in Israel.
He has been exhibited alongside Lea Nikel, Avraham Naton, Reuven Rubin, Menashe Kadishman, Igael Tumarkin, Moshe Rosenthalis, Yosl Bergner, Itzchak Tarkay and David Dudu Gerstein.
