Depre received such awards as the Grand Prix de la Ville de Paris and le Prix Lillie de France. In 1973, Marcel Depre was named "peintre officiel de la marine". Today such museums as the Musee d'Art Moderne de Paris and the Musee de la Marine include examples of Marcel Depre's art in their permanent collections. See less
