A splendid italian marine landscape with sailing boats signed by italian artist Giulio Sommati (1858-1945). Perfect for collectors who love mountain landscapes. Excellent pictorial quality. Sold with wooden frame. Giulio Sommati di Mombello, a Turin artist from a noble family, who was artistically trained at the Accademia Albertina in Turin, the city where he lived and worked, while exhibiting in all Italian cities. He painted genre scenes, portraits, urban views (especially his Turin markets), landscapes, and from the first decade of the 1900s, also numerous marinas, following his discovery and falling in love with the Ligurian Riviera. He had among his admirers the King (from whom he obtained the nomination as Knight of the Kingdom) Queen Margherita, Elizabeth of Saxony Duchess of Genoa, the Promoter of Turin, Princes, municipal and national art galleries and art lovers scattered in many regions of Italy. He is considered "certainly a great poet and his poetry was expressed in the colors of nature (mother and teacher) that he brought back to the canvas". less

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).

Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
