1970s or earlier vintage wire hen or chicken shaped egg basket.
Great for displaying farm fresh eggs that don't need refrigeration, all with a touch of farmhouse country flair.
It is ideal for collecting eggs, gathering vegetables from the garden, or as a decorative piece.
Handcrafted farmhouse wire egg basket made without the use of solder or welded joints, the basket is entirely joined by hand with bends and knots of galvanized steel wire, coiled handle, loop feet.
Use them in your kitchen to hold eggs or as tabletop decorations filled with potted plants, walnuts, citrus, or lined with moss and colored eggs for an unusual Easter display.
I love the way the handles fold down to become wings when she's sitting.
This early little country rustic egg basket shaped like a chicken wire basket with handle is in good vintage condition, there's a few light rust spots here and there, very usable yet, and handles go up and down easily.
Measures 11 1/2" long, 6 1/2" wide and 8.75" tall.

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
