He was part of the Lucite fashion, alongside Charles Hollis Jones and Lion in Frost designs.

The 2000 series Pipeline Lucite Coffee Table was created in 1972 and, one of the two bases is engraved by hand, "Jeff Messerschmidt 1972, 2000 Series Pipe Line Table #15".
The shine and translucency of the material perfectly embodies the mid-century futuristic aesthetic.

The versatile bases are in good vintage condition; The Lucite is clear with some light scratches underneath the bases, that do not interfere with the piece.

The two bases can support a square glass, rectangular, or even a 42"round glass as I'm showing in the pictures.
The glass is not included, as it is much cheaper to ship without it. See less
