Shown is a pair of monumental ceramic urn shaped lamps in a glossy eggshell glaze paired with their original tall empire shades in a matching ivory tweed with chartreuse accents. All original brass hardware, brass finials, and electrical which has been tested and works. These pieces were well taken care of and in beautiful condition for being over 70 years old. The flaws are cosmetic and are mainly on the wooden base of one of the lamps as there is some paint chipping as shown. On the same lamp, there is some crazing at the very top 'hat' portion of the base of the lamp. There are also small cosmetic flaws on the wood neck of both. Overall this pair is in wonderful shape and make a statement with their overt scale. Unlabeled and was found in an estate with primarily 1940's and 1950's furnishings. Standard wine bottle for scale.
