I'm pleased to offer for sale this fantastic Vintage Postmodern - style mixed media collage geometric wall art by listed artist CAROLE AOKI C,1986. Titled " UNVEILED"
Created with beautiful colored vinyl fabric and board. It has been signed by the artist and framed under glass in a natural wooden framed with a hanging wire attached to the reverse side.

EARLY WORK
For over 40 years Carole has created intricate sculptures and unique functional objects in porcelain and earthenware.
Her work resides in the collections of the Everson Museum, the Charles Wustum Museum, and the Long Beach Museum of Art. She has been honored by juried shows in the U.S., Czech Republic, Norway and Japan. In 1990 she received a prestigious fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. Her corporate commissions include IBM, the Upjohn Corporation and Kaiser Medical Centers. Her work can be found in private collections in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Jackson Hole, Washington, D.C., Calgary and several Florida cities.

COLLECTIONS
A BFA graduate of California College of the Arts (formerly the California College of Arts and Crafts), Carole has a broad knowledge of art history, ceramic design, ceramic process, and object conservation. She has taught workshops at the Camberwell College of Arts in London, California State University at Sacramento, Teacher’s College at Columbia University, Hofstra University, Mendocino Art Center and Garrison Arts Center. In NYC she was associate professor at Parsons School of Design as well as at Marymount Manhattan College. She also taught ceramic art at the 92nd Street Y.
