PALM BEACH ESTATE FIND!! “Blimey Limey” is an original work by Mort Kuff. It is watercolor and pen & ink framed nicely under glare-proof glass. Kuff is a graphic artist and accomplished portraitist who was commissioned by the White House Historical Association to create the official White House coloring book! He is known for his finely detailed portraits of political figures and celebrities.
This piece depicts an old-time explorer, perhaps on an African safari? Love the pith helmet and swanky neckerchief! Signed and dated lower right as well as on the verso in the artists hand. Measures 11” x 15” and 20” x 24” overall framed.
