PALM BEACH ESTATE FIND!! “Aero-Pioneer” is an original work by Mort Kuff. It is watercolor and pen & ink framed nicely under glare-proof glass. Kuff is a graphic artist and accomplished portraitist who was commissioned by the White House Historical Association to create the official White House coloring book! He is known for his finely detailed portraits of political figures and celebrities.
This piece depicts an old-time mustachioed pilot in his cap and goggles with a sketch of a classic biplane upper right. Such an evocative image for any historical aviation buff. Signed and dated 1976 lower/center right as well as on the verso in the artists hand. Measures 10.5” x 13.5” and 15” x 18”overall framed.
