Sofa designed by marco zanuso in 1951, relaunched in 2016. Manufactured by cassina in italy. The armchair is now flanked by a two-seat sofa with the same production features as the armchair: seat, backrests and sides are manufactured separately with different padding densities depending on the support required by the pressure exerted by the body. . We try to edit our photos to show all of our products as life-like as possible, but please understand the actual color may vary slightly from your monitor about the designer: an architect, designer and university professor, marco zanuso (1916-2001) was one of the most important interpreters of the modern movement. Trained at the polytechnic university of milan and, in the immediate post-war years, co-editor of the magazine domus with ernesto n. Rogers, he received the gold medal and the grand prize at the milan triennial on various occasions (editions viii, ix, x, xi and xiii), and won five compassi d'oro between 1956 and 1985. Zanuso was one of the first designers in italy to take an interest in the industrialization of the product, going beyond the aesthetic question to incorporate technological, industrial, of distribution and communication. According to zanuso, the shape of an object destined for serial reproduction is an amalgam of possibilities, experimentation and innovation in the concrete process that connects creativity, production and sociocultural context. Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
