This really is a Great Looking - Fine Quality pair of Antique Opera Glasses - Binoculars. Circa Very Late 19th … more This really is a Great Looking - Fine Quality pair of Antique Opera Glasses - Binoculars. Circa Very Late 19th to Very Early 20th Century. Note! that they are Quite Rare & Unusual Being Made Out of Aluminum. It is and interesting fact that Aluminum was Very Expensive to Manufacture Due to the Complicated Refining Process During the Mid to late 19th Century. Items that were Made out of Aluminum Were Very Expensive and Quite the Novelty. Note! Also that Being Made out of Aluminum they are Very Light in Weight - This also being a Novelty in itself. Oddly they have No Maker, Origin or Other Markings but Based on my Many Years of Experience I am Sure that They are Paris - French Made. The Bodies are Laminated with Beautiful Genuine Mother of Pearl as Well as the Rotating Focus Wheel. They are in Very Nice Cosmetic and Functional Condition - Do Damage - Never Abused. They have Very Good Optics - Focus Perfectly when Adjusted as Used. They also come with their original fitted leather case that is also in Fair Condition - Show Some Honest Age and Use Wear.
They Measure 3 5/8 inches Long Fully Extended x 2 3/4 inches Long when Collapsed .
They are 1 5/8 inches Tall x 4 1/8 inches Wide.
