The 256-page, hardcover/jacket, coffee-table book was … more This is Architectural Digest's 1981 book - "The Private World of Thirty International Celebrities." The 256-page, hardcover/jacket, coffee-table book was edited by Paige Rense. A stated First Edition, the book includes colorful photos of the homes of many fashion designers, actors, and most importantly to me, 20th Century artists. Because I collect artists'. books, I found the inside peek at some of their homes, so compelling and revealing. The listing photos show just a few interiors of famed artists, Alexander Calder, Erte, Roy Lichenstein and Henry Moore. But there are many more to view and savor - including the sumptuous homes of Barbra Streisand, Hubert de Givenchy, Christina Onassis and more. Then there's also the homes of Zandra Rhodes, Arnold Scaasi, Bobby Short and Roald Dahl and Patricia Neal. In the 40+ years since publication, many of the "personalities" have passed, and those still with us likely have remodeled their homes or moved. This is a desirable book for collectors of vintage fashion, vintage movies, tycoons (Marcolm Forbes, royalty (Princess Margaret) and, Artists. It is a companion to the earlier AD Celebrity book, (I listed before I came upon this version), This volume also is in very good vintage condition, with some mild sunning on the upper edge of the gray boards. The original dust jacket is intact, but well-worn, chipped at back, and with some minor tears. If you decide to add both books to your library, I will send them, carefully packed, together for one shipping price. less

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
