Decorated Buddhist scenes of followers surrounded by mountains, clouds, temples, and elephants finished in faded lacquer covered with gilt. Large hardwood fitted top removes for storage. Bronze handles on each side. Beautifully decorated would make a great tea table or coffee table. From an estate in Malibu, CA.
