The wood is in very good condition. The finish on the wood is pretty good. Original staining and finish done in a warm chestnut. The tin plate with double bird tin punch motif is in good condition. The angular cuts and tucking in the raw edge on the back tin plates give the sconces an appealing look. There is some tarnishing and dulling in places on the back plate. The candle holders are meant for long tapers and are in pretty good condition with a little discoloring. The drip cups are crimped nicely and are in good condition. These are nicely made hand crafted wall sconces. less
