This 1954 collectible, no longer made, vintage board game called "Game of the States" is in excellent vintage condition. Recommended age: 8 years to adult for 2 to 4 players. Made by Milton Bradley. All parts included, no missing pieces. Includes board which includes Alaska and Hawaii, four plastic truck playing pieces, 49 state cards, (no Hawaii card yet as it was still a territory in 1954) four markers of each color, stack of play money, spinner card, original graphic fillers and compartments inside the box bottom. Instructions on underside of lid. The exterior of the box may show slight shelf wear as it was shuffled around on the shelf from time to time, and one corner is split but it can be taped/mended. These games, when in good condition with all parts included, such as this one is, are going for $100.00-$150.00 on average at auction, consignments shops, estate sales, etc., making this game priced according to the competition. The game was gently played with when first purchased, then stored in a cool dry place. Comes from a smoke-free/pet-free home.
