The chest itself is made of solid wood with dove-tailed corners. The drawers are made of cardboard with metal components.

Condition: There is a small crack on the face of the wood near the top right drawer. The finish to the top of the wood is worn in areas. The back of the drawers on one side is missing the wooden backing. The cardboard facing of the drawers shows wear. There is a makers mark sticker, although I can't make out the label.
