Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is an extremely rare and monumental piece titled “My Mentor Joan Miró” including “Omage to my friend Pablo Picasso” executed with oil on canvas. It is signed and dated “P. Keil ‘67” in the lower left corner and signed and titled with location (Palma) on the verso. This is an absolutely gorgeous piece in excellent condition with exception to minor craquelure due to age. This piece was purchased by the Bowen family as a routine purchase from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter.
