Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is an extremely rare, monumental piece titled “Bauhaus” after the well-known Bauhaus German art school where his works have been displayed. This piece was executed with acrylic on canvas featuring gorgeous layers of details throughout and is in excellent condition with only the frame having minor flaws. It is signed “P. Keil” in the lower left corner and titled with signature and locations (Palma and Paris) on the verso. This piece was purchased by the Bowen family as a routine purchase from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter.
