Anthony A. Ferrara (1930-2012) - Untitled Expressionist Female Portrait, Signed (ca. 1970, Oil on Canvas). Untitled expressionist portrait of an older female. Floated in a handmade black wood frame. Signed en verso along the upper stretcher bar. In fair condition with craquelure and wear along the edges. Frame is in very good condition.

Anthony A. Ferrara (1930-2012) was a Philadelphia artist who graduated from the Tyler School of Art in 1963, and later studied with Ben Eisenstat at Fleisher Art Memorial. He is perhaps best known for his plein air cityscapes of Philadelphia and portraiture.
