It's beautifully crafted, using the traditional joinery techniques of old-fashioned tables, reinforced by screwing the top along the entire length of the crosspieces. With its spindle legs, it's a real class act, and the quality of its manufacture makes it an investment for decades to come. The table is varnished in 2 coats of light oak stain, which will protect the wood on a daily basis. It will develop a patina over time, enhancing its charm as it ages.
