Lovely Scottish sterling silver coffee pot. George III, late 18th century.
12" height, 9" handle to spout. 858 grams.
Legible hallmarks are Scottish thistle and a maker's mark, possibly John Leslie.
Beautifully repousséd with thistles, roses, leaves, and a garden fountain motif.
Overall very good condition. Two small dings to cartouche. Chip to lower insulator. Very tiny hole near hinge.
