From Rug & Kilim Principal Josh Nazmiyal’s latest acquisitions, a distinguished vintage runner originating from Turkey circa 1950-1960.
On the Design: The symmetric geometric design features a series of traditional motifs continuing from end to end in a gorgeous movement of warm orange, pale blue and beige-brown hues atop red. Keen eyes may note floral patterns meandering in traditional border scrolls, enjoying a playful variation of the same hues.
Especially rare for its great condition & intriguing construction, a fine hand-knotted wool piece of uncommon, very collectible provenance. Particularly well suited for entryways & hallways in its versatile size and fabulous colorway.
