When I found this, it was a falling apart, combination shipping crate & display unit, promoting the New Kelvinator Electronic Range.
Circa 1930’s - 40’s, it would’ve been transported around to different department and appliance stores where it would open to reveal an actual range, on which the sales person would demonstrate its many features.
It was beyond repair, so I disassembled it, and now have 5 different signs. All are constructed of plywood, with the original hardware still attached. They measure 7’ tall. The brown end boards are 13” wide. The red boards, 27” wide, and the center, single-sided board, 24.5” wide.
One thought was to hinge them all together, accordion style, and make a room divider.
