Rustic designed Black Forest wall mirror from Austria, circa 1880. This exceptional antique wall mirror impresses with a simple but elegant "tree trunk" design, elaborately hand carved out of basswood. The very dark brown nearly black finish confers this unique late 19th century wall mirror an additional charming rustic appearance and finalizes the gorgeous look.
Replacements made: the mirror glass has been renewed during restoration. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use.
