Stunning Mid-Century Modern lacquered console table featuring a Carrara marble top. Made in France in the neoclassical taste having a parcel gilt decorated case. Fronted by two storage drawers with intertwined gilt wreath motifs and brass pulls. The corners have carved rosettes above fluted and tapered legs ending with toupie feet. Finished in a French green lacquer having an intentionally distressed patina to mimic age. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship topped with a slab of Carrara marble having a lovely aged soft patina. Lovely profile finished on three sides.
