Decorate an outdoor garden with this antique statue featuring Saint Francis, the saint patron of animals. Crafted in France, the carved vintage statue depicts the Saint dressed in cassock, holding two birds in one hand while feeding a lamb with the other hand. The garden element is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns the original weathered and patinated finish. Weight 48 pounds. Dated and signed on the base 2001.
Francis of Assisi (1182-1226), was born in Italy. After a wild youth and a brief career as a soldier, Francis had a conversion experience that inspired him to renounce his family's wealth and devote his life to God. St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of the environment and animals, built bonds of love with all of the kinds of creatures in the animal kingdom; however, Saint Francis had a special relationship with birds, who often followed him around and rested on his shoulders, arms, or hands as he prayed or walked around outside.

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
