This set of 6 chairs (4 side chairs and 2 armchairs) is from the New World Collection designed by Michael Taylor for Baker Furniture. The set is masterfully crafted from solid cherry and found in it's original black hand polished lacquer finish. The original striking cane backs are stunning and sound. The seats have been newly upholstered in a neutral Haute House fabric. Circa 1960s. See less

The walnut frames, ebonized … moreThis gorgeous set of ebonized dining chairs has recently undergone a partial restoration featuring new upholstery. The walnut frames, ebonized in a rich jet-black stain, are in excellent original condition showing only minor nicks and one chip on one of the arms (which can be seen in the photos provided). The caning is also in fabulous original condition showing no tears, stains or other damage whatsoever. The seats have recently been re-upholstered in a stylish light grey velvet very similar to the original fabric. This luxurious set of dining chairs are ultra-comfortable, structurally sound and ready for decades more of use. Please view all photos for details on this extraordinary set's current condition. less
