A very fine American tilt top table with acanthus and rosette carved pedestal. The vasiform baluster pedestal with birdcage sits atop a very graceful tripod base with each leg terminating in a slender ball and claw foot. An especially robust forged iron spider is fitted beneath. Each downswept cabriole leg has fine meandering acanthus springing from a large rosette and decorative lappets marking the transition to the baluster. The top is a single board of mahogany with good deep figure and color, finished with a bull nose edge. Provenance: private collection, acquired from respected dealer Philip Bradley Antiques 2001. Attributed by Philip Bradley to NY, ca. 1760-1780. Very good condition, a good even finish, minor wear, signs of age and use: some minor dark marks to the top, one very tight partial age crack through the center the heart wood on the top.

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
