Elio Ferrara was born in Naples in 1945, he attended the Academy of Fine Arts and then worked as a set designer at the San Carlo theater.
In the meantime, he continues his activity as a painter which he has practiced since 1960 by adhering to the current of the new figuration, to later turn his attention to the traditions and customs of his city, thus describing, with figurative language, the customs.
His pictorial production is known worldwide, he has a good market in America, Germany, France, Brazil; it is also present in many public and private collections, embassies, art galleries, in collections of famous artists, politicians and well-known professionals.
Elio Ferrara's works are still remembered today, in Italy and in various parts of the world; but where he was most appreciated, it was in his beloved France, where he lived and painted for years; Nice and Paris, in this context he has produced subjects of Parisian inspiration which he realizes with powerful pictorial technique; this is how flea markets, outdoor bars, bistros, crowded boulevards and nostalgic faces of local men and women are born.
Elio Ferrara is also an appreciated orientalist, he lived for a short period in Cairo; there, struck by the local color, he described its customs and traditions.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
- Only available in selected markets.
- Chairish In-Home Delivery
