The painting by Ciro De Rosa portrays a beautiful noblewoman with an elegant and sophisticated dress, he reinterprets one of the works of Giovanni Boldini, an Italian painter but Parisian by adoption. He was one of the Italian painters who were able to best represent the charm and colors of the Belle Époque. The genre that gave him the most fame was undoubtedly the portrait, of which women, represented in all their charm, were undoubtedly the main protagonists.
