Romantic readings - Ciro de Rosa Italia 2002 Oil on canvas cm.70x55
Gold leaf gilded wooden frame available on request
The beautiful painting by Ciro De Rosa depicts a young noblewoman and a young boy looking at a map, from his portraits the very personalities of the subjects emerge, determination, sweetness, coquetry or fortitude. The painting is inspired by one of the many works of the most important Italian painter of the belle epoque, Giovanni Boldini, in the artist's paintings you can admire the freshness of the colors, the vibrant figures and the idea of continuous movement. Many of his paintings depict female portraits, with elegant and fashionable clothes, a symbol of an emancipation that dared more and more.
