Originating from Germany circa 1920-1930, a rare 12x20 antique hooked rug among our largest discoveries of this provenance.
On the Design: The arresting colorway of orange, blue and beige-brown is uncommon, even for this technique renowned for individualistic works. Other vivid hues complement impeccable detailing in a geometric-floral pattern with textural refinement seldom, if ever, seen before in hand-hooked carpets—let alone those of such magnificent scale. A regal work as extremely collectible as it is covetously beautiful.
