Handwoven in high quality wool, a 5x8 Jajim kilim unveiled from R&K Principal Josh Nazmiyal’s celebrated treasury of Persian masterpieces.
Originating circa 1950-1960, this particular tribal rug has an exemplary play of rare green and blue with rich beige-brown in detailed, fabulous variations of tribal patterns. Existing in good condition with a mild shabby-chic element, a collectible mid-century piece from rare curations of this distinguished provenance.
Connoisseurs will note how rare it is to find a Jajim piece from this era intact, let alone in this beauty. This item may even be slightly older than its good condition suggests, possibly from the early 20th century.
