The midcentury couch features a low profile arm style with a slightly inclined seating position similar to sofas by Edward Wormley for Dunbar Furniture. Very comfortable and elegant. The sofa also has a beautiful solid walnut base with a continuous groove sculpted into the frame. The couch has very clean lines with recessed arms reminiscent of designs by Harvey Probber. Quality built. A great example of American modern craftsmanship that will complement a variety of interior decors from traditional (fits well with Chinese Chippendale, for example) to Hollywood Regency and Danish Modern.
