It is mounted on a black marble base and faithfully reproduces the beauty and power of the original work -- right down to its slightly "off" visual perspective. (Michelangelo designed the original sculpture to be seen from below, not at eye level as currently displayed in the Basilica di San Pietro in Rome.) But there's no need to fly to Rome.
