Scissor wall lamp - model 6718 designer: christian dell year: design around 1935, production around 1950 manufacturer: kaiser & co. Neheim country: germany measurements: h 13 cm w 80 cm d 21,5 cm material: sheet steel, black satin finish, nickel-plated brass parts, socket e 27 with rotary switch, 3-wire plastic connection cable, black schuko plug. Condition: good original condition special remarks: few signs of wear. Around 1935, christian dell, formerly master of the metal workshop at the bauhaus dessau, for the company kaiser + co. Created the idell lighting series. The task was "luminaires for the office and workshop, for work, for protection of the eyes". Source kaiser idell catalog no. 11.
we offer a scissor wall light with a medium shade from the exemplary idell light catalogue. After wall mounting, the lamp can be pulled out, swiveled and tilted on the wall bracket. As usual with idell lights, the reflector has a spherical head that allows the light to be deflected laterally and vertically. The light has been rewired. this piece has an attribution mark,
