An original watercolor painting for a triangular tile design by Dorothie Coombes, British artist and designer, 12 1/2" x 10 1/2", under the matting is inscribed - design, design for tile - 1914, the design has been matted with Antique White Museum matboard and backing.
This is a superb example industrial design in the British Arts and Craft style.
The colors are vibrant and clear and the image is in fine condition.
