Here is a wonderful lamp from the early mid-century that features a beautiful, detailed lamp on a wood pedestal which is wall-mounted. I just love the uniqueness and versatility of this lamp! Since it is plug-in, you can literally put it anywhere you need extra light or a unique item. The base of the lamp is an urn shape, with gold painted handles on each side and lovely porcelain flowers around the center. The lamp is topped with a cream shade that has a green velvet trim ribbon around the top. Please note that inside the lamp shade someone has written the name Jane, which you can see in the 7th photo. I didn't see it while it was hung in the house, but I'm not sure if it can be removed. The lamp turns on/off by pushing the button on the wooden base, lower right-hand side. The base itself is solid wood in a walnut color with gold painted trim details. Lamp works perfectly!
