Empoli Cased Glass was popular during the 1950s + '60s, when Empoli glass manufacturers moved away from the traditional green "Verde" glassware, and began producing brightly colored glass cased glass in a layer of clear glass, sometimes also having an internal layer of opaque white "Lattimo" glass.
